Tips to check whether your basement is waterproofed
- Make sure there are no cracks in the building
- No leakages, if you find anything, use proper solutions to fill it up.
- Make sure you have a proper drainage system, which immediately drains the water outside as soon as the rain stops.
- Just watch out for insects, ants which goes inside the building and which can create holes in the wall. You need to cautiously watch out for that otherwise if the rain comes, the water can come inside through the small holes created by ants.
For Renters who hire a basement watch out about the integrity of the basement and know clearly whether the basement is absolutely waterproofed you can hire the basement for rent, and also if the place is not in the low lying zone you can go for rent.
If you have your own basement follow the tips and it can protect your basement, anyway big structural faults cannot be reverted.
