Seven Tips for things to check before assembling the computer

Out of curiosity and learning many people who have just completed the hardware computer course want to test their skills in assembling a computer from the scratch. Most of the attempts by a starter will definitely fail, they might be doing well in the course center but when they do it alone they tend to do lot of mistakes eventually most of the time processor will go off when somebody does not know how to correctly assemble a system from scratch.

Things to check before  assembling  the computer

  • Before buying the components of computer know about the uses, if you are going to just assemble for test you can try with a second hand system dismantle it and then re assemble it, if you want to assemble components for the new computer you need to be very careful.
  • Do not connect any wires without proper instruction, take the motherboard manual and follow the instructions how to connect wires with the cabinet if you have wrongly connected any wires, it can result in serious issues.
  • Insert the RAM into slots properly, if you do not know how to insert it then you will  end up in big problem after assembling the computer.  There is a lock which is set in the ram slot you need to make sure the RAM has locked inside the slot.
  • Make sure you have connected all the wires into their respective slots about the sound card in the back and make sure the USB port is connected to the CPU.
  • Make sure you connect the DVD writer and check whether it is properly working
  • Check whether the Processor fan gets power and revolve around when the motherboard is switched On.
  • Make sure when you enter ethernet card, led light glows.
