Assembling a System

When you buy a new system it should be properly assembled and it should connect properly in mother board and also the cord connecting to hard disk must be properly inserted into the right slot. You need to follow the diagram given about the processor, you need to carefully follow it and implement. Remember if you change anything then you will have to face serious consequences. Ram should be properly inserted even if the sides change it can seriously affect the motherboard and the processor leading to a greater damage. Take care of the above points and assemble the system carefully.

Installation process of Operating System

To install a Operating system first you need to switch on your computer and then you will see a panel in the monitor, it will display some options on the bottom of the panel like DEL, F2 these are the options you will find to setup BIOS mode, at the start either you can press DELETE key or F2 key it varies according to each system.

Then BIOS panel will be displayed and it has some menus in it and checks whether all components are properly present in the boot area and then set date and time properly. After setting the date and time you will see a main screen of the BIOS setting on your monitor.

Initially you need to find and go to Standard Settings of CMOS and make sure all drives are properly connected to the motherboard. If it is not connected immediately turn off your system and take out every plug from the switch box and then check the drives plug whether it is correctly connected or not. If it is not connected properly then remove everything and reinsert once again and then restart your system and check again the BIOS mode that has been mentioned before.

Make sure you check all the drives and ensure whether they are connected properly to the motherboard and then move on to Advance BIOS features panel and press enter to check out the boot area and setup all drives correctly and save the BIOS setting. Now you are ready to install an operating system.

Now you can insert a service pack disk in to your CD drive and then windows setup panel is displayed on your monitor and then follow the instructions you see in the windows boot area. Press enter key to install an Operating system, after preparing to install it will display a dialog box in that you need to enter a computer name (for Identifying Network name), work group, organization and then want to enter the serial key number and press ok button. Then the operating system will be installed automatically. After that you can install the motherboard CD for Display, sound recording etc.
