Gaming industry is now developed to a very big industry, as the new technology emerges in gaming industry, future belongs to 3d gaming,Now gaming is a interesting option not only for Kids but also for Adults. I’m going to tell you about the history of game consoles.

Game Console Year (1972 )- Atari Pong

The first game console was introduced in the year 1972 and the name of that game console is Atari Pong from Magnavox Odyssey, this game is more or less analog than digital those days game console technology has not been developed to that extent as this game console it does not have good sound capability so it remain as a silent console.

Game Console Year (1975) – Atari Pong  Home unit

After seeing the response from the people for ATari Pong, An engineer working in Atari Pong named Mr. Lee invented a new idea of  creating a game console which can be connected to Television.

Game Console Year (1975-1977) – Magnavox Odyssey 200 to 4000

After the first release in the year 1973 from Magnavox Odyssey it has decided to release in the name of their company called Magnavox Odyssey 200 with more features to it, previous there is no Multi player option but in this version they have developed the technology of the game console  that even two or  four players can play the game. Magnavox Odyssey 4000 was the last game console introduced by Magnavox Odyssey.

Atari Super Pong (1976)

Atari has gained recognition in the market they  decided to release another version called Atari super pong, this version has more features compared to the previous version, Added more variation to the game, previously you can play only one game in a console, now there is a option of playing with more variations.

Coleco Telstar(1976)

This was the first game console introduced by the company called Coleco,  they provide three games with three difficulty levels.

Fairchild Channel (1976)

Channel F has introduced a new invention in game console, It was the first programmable gaming system . Cartridge system was introduced by Fairchild Channel F, they released 26 catridges for their game console.
